There is so much that I can say, but I am not really sure where to start. It has been one of the most interesting years that I have ever experienced in my life. It has been full of every emotion that you can think of. However, I know that I am approaching a change in life somehow. I could not tell you what area it's in, but I know it's coming. I wish I knew in what area. I know that I am where God wants me at this moment, but I am also eager to find out what's ahead. I am not feeling restless, but I am feeling "in a box" if that makes any sense. It seems that I keep limiting myself to certain things when all I really want to do is just get out there and live! I am trying hard to do that but it is so hard to do. I hope that I don't seem like I am complaining because I am not. That's the last thing that I am doing. I am just simply ready to get on with the buisness of moving on with life and seeing where it takes me. I love living here in Colorado and I know that God brought me all this way for something. I am so blessed by the things that God has given me and I am so grateful for the friends that He has placed in my path. I am not sure if I really have a point.
I am simply ready for the adventure that God is bringing! I am ready to tackle it with everything that I am!

Satisfied
Everyone longs to give themselves completely to someone,
To have a deep soul relationship with another
To be loved thoroughly and exclusively.
But, God says to a Christian,
“No, not until you are satisfied, fulfilled, and content
with being loved by me alone:
Not until you resolve to giving yourself totally and unreservedly to Me.
Only then will you be able to have the intensely personal
And unique relationship that I have planned for you.
You will never be united to another until you are united with Me
Exclusive of anyone or anything else,
Exclusive of any other desires or longings.
I want you to stop planning, stop wishing,
And allow me to give you the most thrilling plan existing
One that you cannot imagine.
I want you to have the best.
Please allow me to bring it to you.
You keep watching me, expecting the greatest things.
Keep experiencing the satisfaction that I am.
Keep listening and learning the things I tell you.
You just wait…that’s all.
Don’t be anxious.
Don’t worry.
Don’t look at the things you think you want.
You just keep looking off and away, up to Me,
Or you’ll miss what I really want to show you.
Then, when you are ready, I’ll surprise you
With a love far more wonderful than any you could ever imagine.
You see, until you are ready,
Until the one I have for you is ready
I am working at this very moment to have both of you ready at the same time,
Until you are both satisfied exclusively with Me and the life I have prepared for you,
You won’t be able to experience the love that exemplifies your relationship with me…
Thus, the Perfect Love.
And dear one, I want you to have this wonderful love.
I want you to see in the flesh a picture of your relationship with me.
I want you to enjoy completely the everlasting union of beauty,
Perfection, and love that I offer.
Know that I love you utterly.
Believe it….
And be satisfied.”

Skiing 2009
Amber and I went skiing at Copper Mountain last weekend, and had a blast! It took us four hours to get there because of traffic! It's usually only a 2 1/2 hour drive!
I had a bit of trouble getting on the four man lift, but it's okay. The guy running the lift gave me a little push (trying to push me over so the other lift rider's could get on the lift), I fell off, nearly got hit in the head with the lift, missed because I ducked just in time to have it come over me, and then they had to back it up over me again. The poor guy trying to help me up just grabbed my arm (nearly pulled it out of the socket) and I started slipping towards him. Finally I made it on the lift and up the mountain we went.
By the way it's a 3,000 ft incline up the first lift we went on.
Well, on the second to the last run I had a little accident. Amber stopped so we could chat for a moment, but so I would not run smack into her I fell down. In the process of falling I heard something ... my pants ripped from the knee to the crotch! It was only the outside lining that ripped thank goodness.
The thing that makes this so funny is last year on the same run- my pants did the exact same thing except on the inside.
Well, I do hope to bring more exciting skiing stories before the year is over. I have picked it up pretty quickly and really enjoy it!

God's Covenantal Work
"Magnify greatly whatever you find exceptionally beautiful in order to begin approaching the beauty of God's covenantal work. God's covenantal work involves stunning patterns and silencing choruses, breathtaking landscapes and warm rythms, tragedy and triumph, and fearful awe. Nothing can really compare to the beauty of God's gracious covenatal work, which He had laid before us magnificently from Genesis to Revelation."

Adventures with Amber
Things to Ponder/ Quotes
What activities do we engage
in that God is at the center of?
Do you and I have space for
God in our every day lives?
Plan something impossible
for you to do today.
When we face up to the glory of God,
we find ourselves face down in worship.
I dwell in possibility~ Emily Dickinson
I will fall face down as your Glory shines down.
How long has it been since I have
gazed upon the face of God?
The simplicity of God somehow escapes man...
